FB Heliservices Helicopter Training

Belize

FB Heliservices hold a contract for the provision of 3 Bell 212 helicopters in Belize for 25 Flt AAC in support of BATSUB (British Army Training Support Unit Belize). The Bell 212s are used primarily for FAME (Forward Aero Medical Evacuation) covering the jungle training carried out in Belize, but they are also used for troop transport, internal and external freight plus CASEVAC throughout Belize as required.

There is also a commitment to provide support to the Belize Authorities and this consists of VIP and troop transport plus providing a CASEVAC service for the citizens of Belize. The aircraft fly around 1,200 hours per year.
