Dubai

The Dubai Air Wing is the VIP flight of the Emirate of Dubai which operates a variety of aircraft, including wide body and business jets plus sixteen helicopters. This Contract has been held by FB Heliservices since 2004.

Included within the Dubai Air Wing Contract is the requirement for the maintenance of helicopters allocated to the Dubai Royal Flight, the Dubai Police Air Wing and Heli-Dubai.   Whilst the first two are separately administered governmental units, Heli-Dubai has been allocated two civil registered Agusta 109E helicopter for commercial operations.  

Requirements associated with the support provided to Heli-Dubai have necessitated FBH registering as a Company in the Dubai Airport Free Zone and also applying for United Arab Emirates GCAA Maintenance Approval.

Helicopter types supported by FBH on behalf of the Dubai Air Wing range from the Bell 407 through the Eurocopter 365 NII and Agusta 412 to the Agusta Westland 139.
