FB Heliservices operates a Bell 412 Simulator for the Defence Helicopter Flying School, which is also available for use by other civil and military customers when not contracted to the School.

The FAA Level D capable simulator is configured with a visual system and database which is optimised for helicopter pilot and crew training with all the visual cues to allow role/tactical training as well as Instrument Flying Emergencies and Malfunctions. Various civil authorities around the world, including Mexico and Nigeria, have approved the simulator so that the simulator time counts against the required currency flying.

We can provide standard or bespoke Simulator training courses to supplement conversion training or to provide type recurrency. Procedural Instrument Flying courses are available to provide an introduction, thereby reducing hours required on the real aircraft.
