Two FB Heliservices Instructors have competed in the recent British Helicopter Championships at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire.

Mr John Jackson accompanied Flt Lt  Kenny Docherty to represent 705 Naval Air Sqn, whilst Mr Don Martin partnered Army Sgt Henry Luck to represent 660 Sqn.

The two events consisted of a morning navigation exercise followed by an underslung bucket slalom. Both teams achieved a near perfect score on the navigation exercise. The underslung load exercise proved more difficult but both teams still performed admirably.

The 660 Sqn team came 1st in class for school entrants and 4th overall, out of 26 teams. The 705 Naval Air Sqn team came 2nd in class for schools and 3rd overall.
