The Prince of Wales visited RAF Shawbury on Friday 15 January to present various honours and awards. The recipients included FB Heliservices personnel and DHFS graduates of the Multi Engine Advance Rotary Wing Course.

Prince William, known as Flight Lieutenant Wales, has spent a year training at RAF Shawbury and completed a shortened course. He was presented with his graduation certificate by his father during the 30 minute ceremony alongside his fellow students. Flying Officer Wales was one of 25 graduates to receive their wings this day. He will now relocate to RAF Valley before becoming an RAF search and rescue pilot.
